Insurgent (Divergent 2#) plot line detail reveal: love triangle

It has been revealed by Veronica Roth on an Goodreads interview (which you can read here LINK) that there will be no love triangle in book two. Something which I personally am very happy for. Although this does cut out any Tris X Peter action a twisted romance both Alice and me where vying for.

So what does this mean for all you other Divergent fans, disappointment or celebration?

Insurgent break up: chapters and parts

So Veronica Roth has posted her writing process for Insurgent here (LInk). And on it where these 3 photos. So i spent some time having a look to see if there was any usable info on the. I mean seriously people these are drafted pages of insurgent but unfortunatly my final verdect was that i could not get anything from the text except for a few odd words and letters including ribs (might be a mistake... but i would not be surprised if that was in there.

Anyway what i did get was...

Part 1: chapter 1-7
Part 2: chapter 8-19
Part 3: ?
End: ?

Chapter 2 has 3046 words



Thats about it... not much but i thought it was worth a post.

This was just released only a couple of hours ago...

Still a bit of a wait until the actual release of the books. May 2012 can not come fast enough.

Insurgent draft finished

Veronica Roth posted this on her blog recently..

"I finished the revised draft of Insurgent at 1AM on Sunday (well, I guess that's technically Monday). But there is still work to do! If I could get a book right in just ONE round of revisions, I would be like some kind of writer mutant, and I would be checking myself for flippers or gills or something. There will be other rounds of edits. Plus a line editing round. Plus a copyediting round. Plus page proofs. Plus...well, let's just say it takes longer than you'd think.

Still, I'm really happy with the way it turned out and the fact that it's done. And excited, though prematurely, for everyone to read it!"
