I recommend The Medusa Project by Sophie McKenzie. There are seven books in the series and they captivate you and force you to read them all. I couldn't put them down.
Four teens, each with a special power implanted in them as babies in an experiment come together to solve crime and solve the mystery of their existence.
Each book is told from the perspective of one of the four characters and it gives you a better insight into the struggles and differences each character has during his/her journey.
You guys might like this series if you like a historical slant to your books. Waterfall, Cascade and Torrent. Some cool medieval history stuff and adventure with a modern heroine. In the first book Gabriella and Evangelia are the daughters of Etruscan archaeologists. Stuck in Italy on a hot, dusty dig site for yet another long, dreary summer they go exploring, enter a forbidden tomb and find two handprints among the frescoes. And when they touch them, together, they are catapulted back in time…and into the adventure of their lives kicking ass with some Italian knights. I loved the series and have read each one again.
^Alice, yeah thats right as about the romance!!! XD
CrystalPalace. That Sounds good!! Ancient history has been a great passion of mine since i read the Percy Jackson series.
And if we are suggesting books with historical components i would say A discovery of Witches and The Percy Jackson series. I, Corianda as Alice said is also good.
Hey did you know Sally Gardner was dyslexic and didn't learn to read till she was 14. Can you believe that!! I loved I Coriander. I want a pair of silver shoes so I can find out my mums deepest darkest secret and save her from the wicked witch. Wouldn't that be cool. And Percy Jackson. LOVED that series.I want more. But my all time favorite book that still makes me sing is Peter Pan. I want to be Wendy and never grow up. No I want to be Peter...no Wendy...no Peter...to be continued !!
@Wendy Peter Peter Pan and Percy Jackson Fetisher here!!!! YYYEEESSSS!!! Peter pan is my all time favorite classic. Every time is read that book I cry and I can honestly say that peter pan was probably my first book crush. I always thought Wendy should have stayed with peter in neverland forever. Or maybe she could bring her parents like she did on her broomstick when she was older. My only (very very small quarrel) with the book was that peter pan just moved on in the end without her (to her daughter no less) but really that’s just me being fussy romanticist.
That’s fascinating- (@Alice, lol that’s right still hope for you.)- About Sally Gardener.
Will have to do some more reading on it.
I loved the PJ series. When I first heard RR was coming out with another Camp half blood series I was exited but kinda disappointed that it did not have Percy but now that the second one has come out with him as the main character I might just have too!!! Still I think I will miss Annabeth, Nico and Thalia (my fav. character).
you might want to read raised by wolves and every other day both are by jennifer lynn barnes. they are so great and they both have the coolest heroines like ever. you also might want to read spell bound by cara lynn shultz if you have not before.
